If you find some please let me know if there are any still available. It seems the only way I will ever own my own is if I grow it from seed myself.

Hi Brent it is hard to get Hirao X Hirao seeds.
I was gifted group 2 yellow cross Hirao seeds and all are un pigmented, I will have to wait another 2 to 3 years to see the outcome but I am sure it will be compatible but it is still a 50 50 %. They only have 6 leaves now.
Kind Regards
Frits

Hello Brent,

Just a friendly warning.........be very selective where you buy Hirao X Hirao seeds..........I bought 10 this year and all were pigmented! This kind of seeds are not cheap.......so if someone advertise them cheap.......you probably going to pay a lot on the old end and waist 5 years in waiting.

Kind regards,

My pennies worth - Hirao is a group 2 and when group 2 is crossed with itself you will get all pigmented seedlings and I doubt if any will be green. I believe it is not a good cross and will cost you a lot

Don't know about you Koos but I have selfed Hirao seeds and they were green stemmed. The ones you got must have accidentally been crossed with something else...

Hi All
I have purchased many Hirao seeds and 90 percent of them have not had pigmented stems. I have also obtained Hirao crossed with Charles green and they are not pigmented. I think that it is very important to obtain these seed from well-known growers. All the Hirao seeds that I have obtained from Cliviamart have not been pigmented.
