Michael, I just read Connie and James commenting on the enthusiasts' list that Frats is a multi-anthered plant too, and immediately thought of Annie Rex. How's she doing this year?

Michael I also have a frats that I called Haywire,pictures posted before.My plant is not related to Connie and James plants but also is multi an-thered.I selfed it last year but with no success,I did used its pollen onto a big flowered Orange and a peach with very good seed set.

Chris, that's really interesting that all three are multis. I hope you get hold of Frats or Annie Rex pollen for Haywire someday.

Hi Michael,

Annie is not flowering this year unfortunately. When she does flower she is always multi-thingied with 8 or more.

Interestingly other growers more experienced at getting plants to flower asap have started flowering some of the gift seed of Annie Rex x Frats we gave out a few years back and so far the three that have flowered have all flowered the same as Annie, one with even finer "hair".

Next year some more of the seedlings should flower, but its looking good that the cross is stable.
