It is indeed a terrible thing, that a large part of the country is flooded. My heartfelt sympathy to all persons concerned to this disaster!

With kind regards,

The severe rain event that hit Toowoomba yesterday has overflowed our region's dams but at a terrible cost. Two people drowned in Toowoomba. Floodwater swept down the range towards Brisbane claiming the lives of another two at Murphys Creek and five (plus?) at Grantham.

Oh Bruce, sorry I forgot to mention you ( and thoughts to Mr Kevin Walters /Mr Anderson and the rest of the Toowoomba club), there in the middle of all the water. Hope you will dry out soon. The random tragic flash flooding is cruel. Keep safe. Michael.
Hope Dean is OK too

News media report Brisbane is flooding, and under evacuation, just as David reports.  I hope everyone gets out safely.
