Broadleaf hybrid seedlings

Hi Group.

Thought i would post a photo of some of my seedlings. These are broadleaf hybrid crosses i made last year and planted this spring. I am very happy with them so far. They have turned out to be quite broad. it is only when i compare them to my miniata do i realise how broad they are in comparison.

Pic 1 - some of my seedlings germinating - plus an out of season yellow flowering now.

Pic 3 - the seedling in the top corner is 3cm wide. i have just pulled it aside to reveal the odd coloured seedling underneath as well.

Very happy with the leaf width  :mmm:
Will have to see if they retain it and improve with time.

and they all look so healthy  :welldone:

Nice Mark!
I've found some seedlings' 4th leaf nearly double the 2nd leaf's width.
Some cool seedlings you have in there.
This is what I enjoy growing too. Plant many, keep few.

Hi Michael, yep, very happy with the seedlings. I do hope that they double their width in the second leaf as you say is possible. That would be great.

Abby, thanks for the comment. I will keep you in mind when i run out of room!

Michael, i keep getting these LOB LIKE seedlings "popping up" in a few crosses i have made. Cant explain them as my LOB flowered out of season last year and could not have cross pollinated. They do seem to be surviving and growing so i will see what happens.
